Konsylium (łac. consilium – a committee) – a medical case conference which aim is to establish diagnostics, additional examinations and a final diagnosis and the way of treatment if given medical cases are complicated. In the past, a consilium was used to describe a group of persons convened for the accomplishment of some specific and important purpose.
Non-Public Health Care Institution Konsylium came into existence in 2009 in order to make their founders dream come true- the dream to create a perfect place to practice medicine in Sanok including numerous specialties and lots of different services in one building, worthy of the modern expectations.
Meeting all these requirements mentioned before turned out to be not so easy. An original idea of adapting an already existing object didn’t lead us anywhere because there aren’t any objects like that: with big, bright rooms for doctor’s offices, with treatment rooms, a lift and a large car park for patients.
Consequently, in this situation we held a meeting (consilium) and decided to start from “bare earth” and an individual project of a building. We have found the perfect “bare earth” in Olchowce and the project was made by highly specialized architectural design studio S.T. Architekci, which carried our plan through step by step.
And nowadays, after some rough time and challenging finish we can proudly invite you to the Konsylium Medical Centre. Our Centre.
We hope that our Non-Public Health Care Institution will extend possibilities of patients’ treatment and diagnostics in Sanok area. In particular, we pay the attention to offer these services which haven’t been available so far here. We also believe that in the course of time the choice of services will be wider due to cooperation with specialists from other distant centres.
